Many different styles of dance evolved during the early 20th century. Take a look at the following dance styles and get an idea of the possibilities. We currently teach classes in Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing.
East Coast Swing:
The stereotypical swing dance style.
Lindy Hop:
Lindy hop is the fully formed iconic dance form of the Jazz era.
Charleston:
Charleston takes its origin from earlier jazz dances and later evolved into Lindy Hop.
Balboa:
Balboa evolved at the same time that Lindy Hop was thriving on the East Coast.
